V-Tron is a contract manufacturer offering manufacturing and engineering services to companies involved in the design and production of electronic devices. Our customer base is diversified in product and location.
V-Tron is actively searching for a production supervisor. The position requires experience in supervising assembly operations and assignment of resources to meet schedule requirements.
Must have working knowledge of IPC620 Workmanship standards.
Familiarization with ISO 9001 Certification.
Previous, recent, supervisory experience required.
Will supervise 40 to 50 operators involved in the production of wire and cable assemblies, sub-assemblies and fully assembled electronic devices.
The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Production manager. Special attention will be given to those having process certifications for the manufacture of electronic devices. V-Tron is an ISO 9001 certified company.
Salary/wage open. The hours are 7:30 to 4:00, 40 hours per week.
NOTE: Successful applicant will have demonstrated a high level of sensitivity to elements effecting job quality and efficiency. As part of the interview the applicant will tour our production area(s). We will inform the applicant to take note of anything seemingly out of order that could affect efficiencies and/or quality. The applicant must display a desire to lead and grow with his/her company. Ideal applicant would be one with the experience outlined with some technical training and/or business college.

Assistant Manufacturing Engineer
Assist prototype technicians with all functions of manufacturing including but not limited to cable, wire harness, fiber optic and injection molding fabrication processes. Review drawings and verify customer component compatibility via manufactures specifications. Contact customers when necessary with information concerning drawing/components that are not clear or components that are not compatible.
Skills Required: Must be capable of reading blue prints and schematics. Computer literate, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Experience with injection molding is important, knowledge of molding using PVC, Pellethane, Snatoprene, would be beneficial. Knowledge of the European REACH regulations required. Mechanical ability along with test and measuring equipment, etc helpful.
Experience Required: Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering preferred with three to five years experience or Associates degree in Electronics Engineering with five-ten years similar experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
